Brittany - Senior Session | Class of 2012

June 26, 2012 in Senior Session

I met Brittany last year while shooting her cousin's wedding and was instantly amused by her relaxed demure and anything goes attitude. So when she approached me to do her senior photos I really didn't know what was in store. I never imaged that we would be stomping through a forest, hanging off a bridge, herding cattle, and wrestling mesquite trees. After her sessions, I seriously thought about adding a safety clause to my releases.

Her shoot was divided into two sessions over the course of 6 months. First we headed up to Denton to shoot at Old Goatman's Bridge and the area surrounding it. For her 2nd shoot we headed out to her families ranch in Whitt Texas. Both sessions were a blast to shoot, but there was something extra special about being in Whitt. Maybe it was the remote wide openess of the country side or the absolutly amazing weather we had that evening, something made it special.

So congrats to a fellow L.D Bell Blue Raider and may your future be what you make of it! Thank you for letting me shoot your senior portraits, and thank you to your wonderful family for everything they have allowed me to be a part of, and for being a part of mine and Jennifer's life!

Thank you also to my wonderful assistant Lindsay Garrett of My Little Umbrella Photography for assisting me and braving the heat and thorns!
