Brittnie - Abandoned Steel Mill

April 04, 2012 in Artistic

One of the things I love about my normal day job is that I get to drive all over North Texas and find some of the coolest spots to shoot. Little did I know that there were so many empty warehouses and factory buildings within a ten minute drive. So the day I found out about a 120,000 square foot steel mill being abandoned in North Fort Worth, I immediately started planning photo shoots, and the first person that crossed my mind was Brittnie. We had been talking for a few months about finding an old abandoned warehouse to shoot in, but this building was even better. Trashed, dirty, and ravaged by copper thieves it became a wonderland, a perfect backdrop for something delicate and soft.

I had a great time with Brittnie as always, and after a few hours in the mill, this won't be the last time I'm back in there.
